Every year, in August, our country marks Women’s Month. Taaibosch Piggery also paid tribute to our 47 women on the 9th and 10th of August 2023.
Our mission was simple. We aimed to empower women and wanted a practical and fun day, whilst still teaching them some valuable skills. Therefore, our own in-house security team taught them some basic, easy-to-remember, effective self-defense techniques (in case they ever need them).
Later this month we will also hold an educational day for all our men, where we will discuss women’s rights and how they can play a part in educating themselves and other men so that fewer women become victims. Our motto for this year is to choose strength over fear.
